What the card carries
The card itself holds nothing but a number and a QR code. Your file stays with Fairtreat and is only opened for the hospital you are visiting, after you agree.

Earlier treatments arranged through Fairtreat, so a follow-up visit does not start from zero.
How it works, step by step

Register in two minutes
Name, email, the language you prefer. Nothing more. You receive your card number straight away.

Add what you have
Send reports, images and earlier findings whenever you like. A doctor reviews them before you travel.

Save the card
Keep it in your phone wallet or print it. It works offline: the number and the QR code are all a hospital needs.

Show it at the hospital
Reception scans the code. With your consent, your file opens for that hospital and your treatment can start.

Keep it for next time
The card does not expire. Your next check-up or follow-up starts where the last visit ended.

You decide who sees it
A hospital only sees your file after you approve the access, and only for your visit. You can ask us at any time what we hold, have it corrected, or have the card deleted. Health data is never shared without your explicit consent.
Does the card cost anything?
No. The card is free for everyone, with no membership fee and no subscription. You only pay for the treatment you agree to.
Do I have to book through Fairtreat to get one?
No. You can register for a card first and decide about treatment later. The card is also useful if you only want your documents ready in one place.
What if I lose my phone?
Tell your coordinator. We block the old card number, issue a new one and nothing is lost. Your file belongs to you, not to the card.
Can my family have one?
Yes. Each person needs their own card, including a companion travelling with you. For children, a parent registers on their behalf.
